Membership Program

Membership is available to all stakeholders in the global translation industry. Members who introduce new members benefit from discounts on the annual contribution fees.

All members, except Professional and Academic members, may choose one language pair in which to download an unlimited amount of words free of charge and without the obligation to first upload data.
The volume is counted by the source side of the data. (Example: if a TM database of 4 languages is submitted with 1 million words in the source, it is counted as 4 million words.)

Guidance on membership categories

Special and corporate members are likely to be large buyers and providers. Special members will want to guide the TDA growth strategy. Regular members are likely to generate or spend below one million US dollars/Euros each year from/on translation.

Associate membership is an entry level category enabling companies to cost effectively test the return on investment scenarios. Professional membership is for individual consultants or practitioners. Academic membership is for universities and associated research institutes

Member-Get-Member Program

Discounts on the annual contribution fees through the Member-Get-Member program:

• 1 member referred: 30 %
• 2 members referred: 50 %
• 3 members referred: annual fee is waived
• each additional member referred gives a 1 million words pooling credit
